A Halloween night football game was perfect for this not so into Halloween family. Marcus played Flower Mound High School in the Battle of the Mound game at Texas Stadium and they won - we weren't there to witness the actual win, but they were winning when we left half way through the 4th quarter. How were we to know they would go into double overtime?Grammy and Grandpa came along and we all had a wonderful time. Some of us watched the game, others like the cheerleaders, all the kids were mesmerized by the band and some of us couldn't get past the group of teenagers sitting (more like bouncing up and down) in front of us - next year we will know not to sit on the student section side of the stadium. We thought we had enough distance, but we slightly misjudged.

Yeah! Welcome back to the blogging world!! We didn't hit the Battle of the Mound, but did send some kiddos to the Battle of the Ax...glad ya'll had a good time!
Oh we so miss Texas football especially the local battles. I loved having football on Halloween night. My LG's weren't so happy about.
