Christmas Morning

Christmas morning at our house started bright and early. Baden came to wake us up promptly at 7am - that's when Dallin told Baden he could get up the night before, not realizing that Baden had an internal alarm clock. I told him to go rest in bed until everyone else woke it. Amazingly all the other kids just happened to wake up within five minutes. We gated them out of the living room - they couldn't wait for the barrier to be removed. They were even trying to talk Porter into crawling underneath - which explains why he's on his hands and knees.
When they were given the go ahead, they came flying around the corner with an excitement that only kids on Christmas morning can have.

The girls both received American Girl Dolls. They were both thrilled.

Porter got a new trike. We think he likes it. It works in stages - indoors it rocks and then you can remove the bottom and it becomes a handle so I can push him around and then when his legs get long enough it can be removed and he's on his own.
I'm not sure why I didn't get any picture of Baden. He got a new Lego set. It had about 1300 pieces and of course it was completed by the end of the next day.

After all the unwrapping, the kids discovered a scavenger hunt that led them around the house. Their treasure was found in the oven (not on of course). A Wii for the family! They were very excited. It was a great morning.
